About Me
No Normal Lore was started in 2025 by multidisciplinary artist Delaney Young from Virginia. After having several conversations in which the phrase "no normal lore" was used, there was a realization that each and every one of us has at least one unique story to tell. No Normal Lore aims to dig deeper and aid in human connection by uncovering the little things that make us different, yet bring us closer together.
Delaney continues to build her photography portfolio in the DMV area through concerts, corporate events, professional portraits, and No Normal Lore projects.

No Normal Lore tells stories through nuance. Instead of telling the whole story, No Normal Lore captures the little things about a person that makes them authentic.
These small characteristics have the power to humanize us, and through capturing this humanity, No Normal Lore aims to aid in human connection.
